Equipment needed for even this moderate job takes up very  little space and can easily be accommodated in the average driveway.
This is how  a curb is made using re-enforced steel.

A hole is drilled with the hammer drill and then a steel rod is pounded firmly into the hole.  This is tied to another piece of steel, running the length of the curb, a couple of inches off the ground.
